On the 7 March 1993 Paddy Doyle (GB) set the World Record bench mark for the fastest 10 mile run carrying 40 lb back pack in 1 hr : 24 mins: 20 sec in the 16th Annual Ballycotton 10 miler road race County Cork Ireland.
